The path you go through to get to results
Start Where You Are
If you don’t like your results, you can trace your steps backwards the way you see in the diagram above. What action did you take that led to those results? What feelings did you have that caused those actions? What thoughts led to those feelings? What belief do you hold that plants those thoughts in your head? And who do you walk around as, aka what identity do you hold about yourself?
We’ll work through these parts of you and uncover what needs to be uncovered in each one of them. Only by doing this can you uproot the unconscious factors that are leading to what you want or don’t want.
I hear all of you: your language, energy, beliefs, anxiety, confidence. I love knowing I can help you in so many different areas, assuming you want the help. I love the spectrum of what I can provide, inner and outer tools, because you need them all and they all have their place.
Why Work on
Your Mindset?
You might want to change your mindset if you’re not getting the results you want. A lot of people work really hard doing all the right things and something’s still holding them back, which could very well be your mindset.
Stages of Awareness
Awareness comes first. It’s key. You have to go through stages I call acceptance, appreciation and awe to become aware.
First you accept what’s going on. Then you go through a process of asking:
- What am I thinking about this?
- How does this feel to me?
- What are my beliefs?
- How is my mindset impacting me?
If you’re unaware, it’s hard to change. If you’re too stubborn, you can’t work to change it. Your mindset could be keeping you from your destiny.
Mindset from the
Inside Out
So how do you change it? First, by looking at where you’re at, what you want to achieve. Who are some role models for you, which helps give concreteness to your vision. What’s their mindset and how can you be more like that? That’s just one little angle.
Whatever you think about your current circumstances strongly affects what happens. The truth is not in the appearance of what you’re going through. The truth is what you know to be possible in your life. Circumstances are not you.
Sometimes I might ask you what mindset would be best for you? Not forcing anything on you but you deciding for yourself. Why can’t it be fun?
What’s in the way of you having your ideal mindset now? When you’re in a really safe space with me, it creates an opportunity for you to answer with information that’s blocked but there waiting. People often feel they’re going to be judged but when you feel safe, you can explore deeper.
You may need to reset the meaning you attribute to something that happened to you. A lot of people get stuck on an event. And sometimes without realizing it. Something that happened to you created a belief and you think it’s reality but it isn’t; it’s a belief.
Response vs. Mindset
If you want a different outcome, the only thing you can change is your response, not the event.
Your mindset dictates your responses. So if you don’t like your outcome, look at your response and then dig a little deeper into your mindset.
Just shifting a habit isn’t enough. It can be very useful but may not be what’s causing your mindset at its deepest level.
Using Your Own Life
to Help You
I want to know where you were successful in different areas of your life and what your mindset was at that time. Usually, there are patterns. I want to understand your patterns because while I can give you generic principles, I’d rather let you see your own template. You’ve had success in your life. What were your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and actions in that area?
How have you had a comeback in your past?
What did YOU do specifically? My questions are customized to you to pull the good stuff out of you. Then we’ll reinstall YOUR success program in YOU vs. something off the shelf that may or may not work for your particular way of being in the world.
Have you ever used some guru’s program and done everything properly and it still didn’t work? Most have really good stuff but it’s what worked for them, not necessarily for you.
Customizing a solution for you is what will create meaningful change.
