Your pain becomes your power if you heal it.
About
Hi, I’m Bobby. I’m a Spiritual Being Having a Human Experience
Wayne Dyer said “I’m a spiritual being having a human experience.” The spiritual side of me is a strong component that I used to think people wouldn’t want to hear about. Turns out that wasn’t true and I now connect with people on a deeper level as both they and I bring all of ourselves to the table.
From an outward sense, I’m thoroughly trained and have worked directly with some of the best mentors in the world, such as Jack Canfield, Jim Camp and John Maxwell.
However, it’s my own experience of a dark night of the soul, that has really made me who I am.
Because I went all the way to the edge, I can meet you wherever you are.
I helped a lot of people before that experience; people still came to me for all sorts of reasons. But being beat down to my knees in a horribly bad place, at the edge of my rope, about as far as you could go down, is the change that created the depth of insights I now bring to you.
When I was there, I knew I had millions of tools meant to help me — energy, NLP, Reiki, insights from having read thousands of books, and having listened to more audios than I can count. I never thought I’d be in that situation. I thought to myself, I didn’t learn all this to be in this place.
Part of the realization I had is that when I was on my knees, in tears, I had to surrender complete independence to spirit. I was too stubborn to just quit life. After a while, I realized if anyone could pull out of this, it had to be me. It was almost like I’d been preparing for this my whole life.
Ultimately, I knew I was going to use what I learned through this horrific time to help other people. You have to trust me and I have to trust myself. I have to have the depth myself. My dark night of the soul was a window for me to explore there myself.
You Have to Uproot Yourself to Go Deeper
A really good coach knows that if you’ve got something holding you back on the inside, you gotta get it out. You have to clear the blocks to go forward. I’m not a therapist but I’m not just a guy who’s read 1000s of books and am in my head.
I’ve got a lot more than just book knowledge. It’s “I don’t want to be here” knowledge. Having both kinds of knowledge is what makes me remarkably valuable. Some people have outer credentials; others have an inner gift; some people have both and I’m proud to say I’ve got both.
It helps me to dig deeper than, for instance, you wanting to make money. There’s more to you than a dollar figure. When I find your why, you go much deeper than just outward stuff.
I asked myself the same question: What’s my why? Why even get up the next day? During my darkest time, just about everything that was important to me was taken away. I was lost and angry, deeply disillusioned and hurt.
I’d been coaching people for years even on the side when I was in the corporate world. In high school and college people would always come to me for advice. People would ask me questions. One lady said you helped me more in a half hour than 10 years of therapy.
A Gift in Disguise
People always came to me for help so who could I go to when I really needed help? The answer had to be my understanding of Spirit. Not church but the source. I said, Spirit, you’re gonna help me get through this and then I’m going to help other people also get through their challenges.
I came through with a purpose and realized sometimes you have to be on your knees to figure out your purpose.
Interdependence outshines independence. I said all right, Spirit, use me. How do you want to use my gifts? I’m not just going to help people with their speeches (one of my areas of expertise). We’re going to go deeper.
When I asked for help, that’s when my intuition skyrocketed. I said ”I surrender,“ for real.
The road back up isn’t perfect but it’s almost like a clean slate. The sense of purpose and passion is a lot stronger. I know I can reach people, even during the toughest times. People open up to me because they feel safe because I’m not just intellectual; I’m real. They can feel the genuineness.
You May Be in for a Ride
You may be in for a ride when we work together. You have to come out as your real self. Otherwise, you’ll just work with the surface and it could be good but not great.
I can help you with straightforward business issues. But I can also help you with real transformation because I’ve done it. You’re gonna have to forgive, go through some messy stuff. Beliefs, thoughts, feelings, actions all have to be reshaped.
The deeper we go, the messier it gets because that’s how it works.
Even deeper than your beliefs is your identity, which is what you see on the diagram on my home page. Actually shifting your identity means living a different life, the one you’re shooting for.
Why You Need This
Let’s say a woman is timid but smart. She has to negotiate something big so she’s telling herself a story that she can’t do this. We start working on these beliefs, shifting her identity and when she feels comfortable with it, then we wrap around the negotiation skills I learned from the master, Jim Camp and she’s unstoppable. Then she’ll do far better than she ever thought and by the way, that’s a skill she’s going to have the rest of her life.
Plus, I’ll use my energy training and intuition to hear what she’s NOT saying so I can customize what she’s doing on the inside so now she’s got a real game plan for being unstoppable. She’ll get everything she wanted and more.
The biggest negotiation we have is the negotiation with ourselves.
You can use these principles to negotiate with yourself and get to what’s underneath your motivations and what’s holding you back.
I can tell the difference in someone’s voice if they’re bluffing or for real.
The same thing happens with better leaders and better storytellers. You can hear and tell when someone has earned and lived their story. You earn the right to know your own power.
Smarts + Passion
When you combine smarts with passion, you get real power. That’s my job, to pull that out of you. If you have it and don’t recognize that you have it, then I have fun. It’s an intimate dance. There’s a lot of trust.
People trust me to go deeper because I trust myself to go deeper. Ready?
