What does it mean to live from the inside out? One way to view it is to examine what it’s not. You may have invested much of your life living from the outside in and it may have led to much outward success, since you’ve accomplished important objectives and have what society deems important.
Yet on the inside, you’re unhappy or even miserable, disconnected or numb. You may not know what’s important to you any more because you’ve invested so much time chasing somebody else’s dream. To be sure, you’ve experienced some, perhaps many of the “finer” things in life, yet inside, where we do all of our living, you feel an emptiness. You’re not whole.
Living from the inside out requires courage. It requires a commitment to honoring the truth that’s been inside you from birth. The challenge you face is undoing many of the obstacles you’ve encountered along the way. Things like: limiting beliefs, an ill-suited identity, fear, destructive patterns, stories that no longer or never served you and so much more.
As you begin to live from the inside out, your life shifts dramatically. You live with a sense of intention, alignment and purpose that’s deeply meaningful to you. Is everything perfect? No, of course not, yet it’s perfectly imperfect because now you’re living your life on your terms. Choosing your values, interests, passions and desires. And it’s deeply fulfilling. You realize that you’re turning your life into the masterpiece you’ve dreamt about for years.
Often, the first step is admitting to yourself that you want something more and/or different for your life. We all know that life is precious and can change quickly, so why not bet on yourself and start the process of making the changes necessary to living a life on your terms. It begins by taking that first step. Will you? If you choose to, your life will never be the same. You’ll meet with a success far beyond your current dreams and it’ll be meaningful because it’s what matters most to you. Are you ready? Then let’s begin!
